Somewhere
across the deserts of New Mexico sits the tiny town Tucumcari.
Anybody who has ever been there will recall the experience in
vivid detail. Tucumcari is known for its bright neon lights, and
its inexpensive motels. At one time, this town was bustling, sitting
right on the Route 66 highway, making a convenient resting place
for weary travelers. This piece is dedicated to all those who
are romanced by the open road.
