I’m not going to lie. I’m a huge Denver Broncos fan. How could I not be? As a child, I watched as John Elway continually made miracles happen. We went to the Super Bowl three out of four years during the 80s, and I began to think that this should be a regular occurrence.

However, the Broncos have been in football purgatory lately. When Bo Nix was drafted, I was very excited by the possibilities. Despite the naysayers, I always felt this was a very good decision. For the first time in my life, I even went to training camp just to see him in person.

The Broncos have long been an artistic muse of mine, and accordingly, I attempted to draw Bo Nix’s caricature. Several drawings later, I came close a few times, but never really felt like it was enough. What would be the Benjamin Hummel take on Bo Nix’s likeness? As I sat staring at his fly-away hair, the thought suddenly occurred to me… What if I depicted him as a horse?

That is how this came about. My initial drawing consisted of a Colorado sunset as a backdrop, but I received many requests to make a tee shirt out of this design. So, due to popular demand, I present to you this!
